Forest School is a specialised learning approach that sits within and complements the wider context of outdoor and woodland education.
Forest School is an inspirational process that offers ALL learners regular opportunities to achieve and develop confidence and self-esteem through hands-on learning experiences in a woodland or natural environment with trees. In the school’s case, in our specialist outdoor learning classroom and Forest School learning area situated on the field.
The activities are diffirentiated through the year groups. In forest school the lessons focus on; Tool use, Craft with natural materials, Team building, Wildlife knowledge/identification, Appreciating the outdoors and Keeping oursleves safe outdoors.
